Can I get a free copy of Microsoft Word or Office to put on my laptop?

UC students can take advantage of special offers on software and computers. 

See the information about special offers by logging into MyUC and under the Study tools tabs select Student Special offers.

To install a free copy of Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus -

  • Log in to MyUC
  • Click on My Email
  • Click on Office 365 (on blue bar top left of screen)
  • Uncheck the boxes for Bing and MSN
  • Click on Install now
  • At bottom of screen a box will apppear - select Run or Save (if you Save you will need to locate the installer on your computer and double click to begin the installation)

If you have any problems contact Service Desk or 5500.
