E-Reserve is a Library service that provides unit conveners with a convenient way of making reading material available online, via Moodle.  Library staff ensure readings for your unit are added to Equella and accessible to allow staff to search, locate and drag their readings across to their Moodle page.

We will scan printed items, ensuring copyright compliance and provide links to online items. Unit conveners can set up folders in Moodle according to their requirements ie Weekly folders, Modules etc. to add their readings to.

To request a page, please either:

  • Email e-reserve team at e-Reserve@canberra.edu.au: In the email, please include your unit details, and list of citations & references.

or

  • Visit the Library Service Desk: You, or another staff member on your behalf, can drop off books for scanning at the Library Service Desk.

Please fill in the e-Reserve form provided, which will ask for your contact details, unit details and scanning request

Do your students require extended access?

The Library is bound by copyright legislation to archive E-Reserve readings once the teaching period is over. This is usually done the week after the last exam. However, if students have deferred exams, or if there are other extenuating circumstances, let us know as soon as possible so that we can keep your readings active during this time.
