Caffeinated or sugary drinks like coffee or cola can give you a burst of energy, but you may experience a slump afterwards.

Some people recommend taking short activity breaks, e.g. going for a short walk, or eating something light and healthy like an apple.

Setting goals may help motivation, e.g. I will read two more chapters, then take a break.

Listening to music may also help.
