Many Australian television news, current affairs and documentaries from the free-to-air networks are accessible via the Library’s subscription to TVNews. They are generally available 24 hours after broadcast.

If you want to put a link in Moodle to videos in TVNews, this can be done by adding the Library’s authentication (EZproxy) string before the Media File URL, which is included in the TV News Complete Record.

(Students will be able to sign in to access TVNews with their network login and password.)

e.g.

Ezproxy String http://ezproxy.canberra.edu.au/login?url=

Add Media File http://search.informit.com.au/documentSummary;dn=TEX20112100925;res=TVNEWS

This gives the URL to add to Moodle: http://ezproxy.canberra.edu.au/login?url=http://search.informit.com.au/documentSummary;dn=TEX20112100925;res=TVNEWS

The Library Orders Team can also source other off-air recordings.
