Ulrichsweb is a collection of detailed information about more than 300,000 academic and scholarly journals, e-journals, peer-reviewed titles, popular magazines, newspapers, newsletters, and more. UC Library provides access to UlrichsWeb for UC students and staff.

It is particular useful for determining whether a journal is peer reviewed. In Ulrichsweb this is called 'refereed.':

  • search for your journal by name or ISSN
  • look for an icon which looks like a black and white sports referee's jacket next to your journal's name to see if it is refereed (peer reviewed). Clicking on the name of your journal will show you more detailed information.

Access Ulrichsweb from the link below, or through the Databases and Other Online Resources list from the Library website.
