Most items on Levels C and D can be borrowed for 21 days, unless they have a 7 Day sticker. UC staff, PhD, Masters by research and Honours students may borrow these items for 90 days. The 90 day loan period can be reduced to a minimum of 21 days if an item is requested by another borrower or it is needed by the Library.

Items in the Short Loan Room can be borrowed for 3 hours or 3 days. If a 3 hour item is borrowed within three hours of the Library's closing time, it may be kept overnight but must be returned by opening time the following day.

General Collection, 3 Day Loans and 7 Day Loans may normally be extended if the items are not overdue and have not been requested by another borrower.

Journals are not for loan unless otherwise indicated.
