The Library does not recommend the use of Microsoft Word's referencing function. The referencing styles are slightly different variations to the referencing styles University of Canberra endorses.

If you have already used Microsoft Word Referencing for most of your references, consult the UC Referencing guide and manually adjust your references.

We recommend you use a bibliographic management tool such as EndNote for future assignments. EndNote is installed on UC student computers, and you can also install it to your home computer at no charge by downloading the program or borrowing the installation disc. There is a basic web version which you can sync your desktop library to and access anywhere.

EndNote has a customised style you can install which matches the UC Referencing guide.
