The Library may accept donations of material provided they fall within the collecting guidelines of the Information Access Plans and current collection priorities.

Materials are accepted on the understanding that The Library has control over what is kept and what is discarded.

A Donation form is available from the Library Service Desk or online.

Other options for donating books:

The Lifeline Bookfair collects books which are sold to raise money for Lifeline's crisis support telephone counseling. There are collection points throughout Canberra.

The National Centre for Australian Children’s Literature collects every edition of Australian children's books - be sure to check the Library Catalogue first to make sure they do not already hold your edition.
