University Approved Officers in the Library

A limited number of staff in the Library are authorised to certify photocopies as true copies of original documents. This service is in no way related to making Statutory Declarations.

From 11am - 2pm each weekday, ask staff at the Library Service Desk to contact one of the authorised staff members on duty when you require copies certified. Please bring both original documents and the copies.

Prints of electronic documents can only be certified if the original can be viewed online.  A maximum of 20 copies per client per day can be certified.  This service is available to UC staff, students, and alumni.

If you need a Justice of the Peace (JP), please see the ACT Government Access Canberra website.
