There are a few different ways of backing up your EndNote library and it is highly recommended that you do so.
You can:
· Save the library to a USB – In the EndNote toolbar use File, Save a copy
· Compress your library and save – in EndNote toolbar use File, Compressed library and follow instructions.
· Use the sync function to synchronize with EndNote Basic (Web). (You will be prompted to create an EndNote Web account if you have not yet created one)
