Save the pdf to your desktop
In EndNote –
1.      Click on File, select Import
2.      Click on File for single pdf
3.      Click on Choose to locate the pdf
4.      Select the pdf, then click on Open
5.      Select EndNote Import from the Import option.
6.     Click on Import.

Your selected file will be imported with PDF file attached to the reference

 

Save the folder to your desktop
In EndNote –
1.      Click on File, select Import
2.      Click on Folder for importing the folder with pdf
3.      Click on Choose to locate the folder
4.      Select the folder, then click on OK
5.     Click on Import.

Your selected folder will be imported with PDF file(s) attached to the reference(s)

 

Note

If your PDF article has a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), it will import into EndNote with a number of fields filled. However, if it does not, only the title field will be filled. The name of the file will be used as the title.
