The University ceased its institutional subscription to RefWorks at the end of 2016. We recommend trying EndNote Online, which is a free web-based reference manager (UC students and staff can access additional features by linking their account with the desktop version of EndNote, ResearcherID, or Web of Science.)

If you prefer to continue using RefWorks, you can set up an individual account for US$100 per year:

  • Sign up for a 30-day trial account at http://www.refworks.com/refworks. This account is offered free for the first 30 days and no commitment is required. RefWorks support staff will send you information about how to subscribe at the end of the trial period.

Please note that RefWorks does not offer the Attachments feature, RefShare, RefAware, or Scopus linking to individual users.

As at January 2017, the RefWorks payments gateway is not functioning and trial periods are being entended until this is repaired.
