Some Google Scholar links will take you to the full text of articles which are freely available on the Internet, others will ask you to pay.

When you set up Google Scholar to identify UC LIbrary - it will identify articles that you have access to via the UC subscribed databases.

To enable Google Scholar to identify UC library subscribed databases -

  • select the 3 lines to the top right of Google Scholar landing page.
  • select settings.

Google Scholar to settings

           - select 'Library Links'.

           - in the search box, type in - Full-text at UC Library & click on search icon.

           - "Full-text at UC Library - Full-text at UC Library" - will display below search box.

           - click - Save.

Now when Google Scholar is searched - the Full-text at UC Library links displays to the right of the journal citation - if UC library subscribes to the journal database. Clicking on this link takes you directly to the article within the library website.
