Yes, an e-book can be put on a reading list. When you complete your reading list through Canvas/Leganto and click to send it to the Library, we will link up any existing titles in our collection and attempt to purchase any books that you have tagged as 'required' or 'recommended.'
Note that e-textbooks are a subset of the e-book format which contain core course content. Often publishers do NOT licence e-textbooks to libraries, but only sell to individuals.
