Search across all databases

  • Go to the Library home page
  • Enter your search terms in the search box - Library Search
  • Submit
  • A list of results will appear
  • From left hand menu select:
    • Journal articles
    • Peer reviewed (if required)
    • Narrow the date range by using Publication Date

Search via topic

  • Go to the Library home page
  • Click on Subject Guides (under the heading Students)
  • Select the subject relevant to your assignment
  • Select a database
  • Enter your search terms
  • Search

Search for a specific journal title

  • On the Library home page, click on Find Journals by title located under the Researchers heading.
  • Type the journal title into the search box.
  • Search.
  • Link to a database which holds that journal title.

 

Use a specific database e.g. Academic Search Complete

  • On the Library home page, under the heading Students, select Databases A-Z
  • Select the letter that corresponds with the database you want e.g. 'A' for 'Academic Search Complete'.
  • Scroll down page until you find the required database
