Q. When I download EndNote and try to load it, it is opening as a Word document. How can I fix this?

To solve this on a Windows PC follow these steps: 

1. Right-click on the downloaded file
2. Hover your mouse over Open with and select Choose another app
3. Look through the list and select ResearchSoft Direct Export Helper
4. Click Always at the bottom of the screen

Your RIS files should now automatically open in EndNote.
